Olympos is a harbor city founded in 2nd century BC. It existed until 15th century AD. It is situated in a place where the valley and the city meet the sea and an unprecedented beach. It is the home of famous Bellerophontes myth. It has been suggested that the fires found in Cıralı, “Chimaera”, as the locals called it, depicted as the flame of Chimaera and inspired the Olympic torch. Today, Çıralı-Yanartaş, located between Kemer and Adrasan in the West of Antalya, is one the most preferred places by the daily visitors who want to spend time in nature with its camp sites and bungalows. The other guest of Çıralı beach is Caretta Caretta that comes to the region every year to nest.
